People :: meet the team

key team members

Capire people are typically ‘No Bull’ types who know their stuff. With a wealth of experience, they are real "been there – done that" professionals who are straight up in all their dealings. If what you want can be done but it doesn’t make sense to do it that way, expect them to say so – and provide alternatives that do make sense. In this PC age we live in, this can be a refreshing change!

All Capire people have been carried out and managed multiple implementations and understand the software and the business processes that drive your business. Without this experience we believe you can’t support any system effectively.

Andrew McIlroy (aka Big Red Dog) has been implementing and supporting MYOB Exo Business since it was called Exonet 2000! That’s over 10 years. He has also championed EDI (Electronic Data Interface) and multiple system integrations for MYOB Exo using Flow EDI.

With a background in Accounting but a keen interest in problem solving and dealing with people, not numbers, Andrew quickly got a reputation for lateral thinking and delivering creative solutions to meet businesses requirements.

Andrew is a seasoned professional who, once he left Auckland and moved to the sunny Bay of Plenty, has worked with many of the MYOB Exo Business Partners assisting with advanced SQL knowledge and product experience as well as providing a local face for the out of town partners.

Teri Hansford (aka ExoChick) started with Exonet 3000 in 2000 (Y2K) after being a systems accountant for a large Government SOE, where she worked on 2 major ERP projects. This gave her a taste of being on the client side of ERP implementations. She says this experience gave her a real understanding of what her client’s now go through during any software implementation.

She is originally a South Auckland girl who is well known throughout the MYOB Exo Business community for all the right reasons. She has often been the go-to person for new ERP consultants, even while covering lead consultant positions, stepping in to help manage support teams and any other position that no-one else is keen to cover.

In 2009, Teri saw a gap in the Waikato market where her fresh no-nonsense approach to ERP support would be welcomed by local MYOB Exo Business users. She relocated and found her small business florishing just through word of mouth, such is her reputation.

Svend Villsen is a late entrant to ERP, despite the grey in his beard, yet he's taken to it like a duck to water! His introduction to small business software was after he and his business partner had bought a Wellington food manufacturing business in 2000. One week prior to taking it over, he found out that the previous owners spent 3 days each month creating summary invoices from delivery docket books! Not wanting to waste that sort of time, he bought a computer and, with a little girlfriend help, implemented his first software package. That business is still using that package today! Svend left that business and, after a few diversions, ended up implementing a range of ERP products over the past 8 years, including Exonet 6000.

He's currently viewed as one of the leading SAP Business One experts in New Zealand and has a knack for getting to the heart of a client's business needs quickly. With a well rounded skillset, and being Waikato based, Svend fits the Capire mould well and is a welcome addition to the Capire team.
