October GST rate increase :: 25 June 2010 As announced in the May 2010 budget the standard New Zealand GST rate will rise to 15% on 01 October 2010. However further details have not been available until a few days ago when the Government announced the setup of a special GST Advisory Panel to help implement the changes.
As yet there have been no actual details announced but at last there are now steps being taken to address the previously unanswered issues arising from the GST changes.
